Ghee Spring!

It was a foggy morning but Bri managed to drive to the Calas Beanery!! So delightful to explore the Calas sims always something new! MVW 2017 National Costume

The following is my description and pictures of my walk in the MVW 2017 National Costume competition on Saturday 12/3/16.

MV♛ USA 2017 Brianna Beresford is ready to share her National Costume that represents the United States of America!! This styling is the result of the efforts of TEAM USA who have worked with Brianna for months to complete this classy costume for the contest. The partners in this effort are Ghee designers Beatrice Serendipity and Warm Clarity who brought Bri’s vision to the runway with elegance and style, Belle Roussel of Chop Zuey Couture Jewellry who searched her jewelry boxes for patriotic themes, and Evelia Verwood of Baxe for creating the fantastic poses.

The United States doesn’t have a traditional national costume as does many other countries. Brianna’s inspiration evolved from national symbols but she didn’t want to wear a flag or look like a statue 🙂 The team understood her quandry and the final costume evokes the colors and designs of the flag and the major symbols of the Statue of Liberty (crown and torch). The fireworks add the flair of a national celebration. I can’t express enough gratitude to TEAM USA who put the sizzle on Brianna this afternoon!! Also thanks to everyone who worked to bring the MVW 2017 competition to you today.

MVW2017 – ELIE SAAB TRIBUTE

How lucky can I be – my favorite designer and a tribute to Delypop!! It’s been an awesome contest this year and many of my stylings in the past had used some Elie Saab designs as inspiration! While Elie’s signature style trends to glitter and gold I was enchanted by his flower inspired outfits in his “The Light of Now” show. Actually I have never seen a gown by Elie that wasn’t beautiful sooo my greatest challenge was to represent him with a styling that if he were in the audience he would be standing up and cheering for!!
Mix and match challenges are always the toughest – the greatest problem is finding mix pieces that maintain the character of the original concept. Bri scrapped many outfits in the creation of this styling truly inspired by Elie Saab featuring tulle, feathers, elegance, luxury and WOW!. Thanks to Miss Virtual World 2016 Delypop Cresci for such a glamorous challenge and an awesome year!!
