Yeahhhh! I made it into the first round of the Top Model Competition. They whittled a field of nearly 50 down to 30 last Sunday. We had a challenge to mix Chanel and Amato Couture in an outfit. This took about every waking free hour I have had this week. I had to submit the pic and styling information by noon today and I made it just in time. This was definitely a Challenge!! We will compete to make it to round 2 on Sunday. This competition also has a Facebook and Flickr competition but I am just not sure what that involves yet.

This modeling challenge was to mix Chanel and Amato. Brianna used the Chanel Spring – Summer Haute Couture 2014 and Resort 2015 Collections for inspiration. The ballgowns shown in both collections included lovely beige/silvery sequined, classic, flowing gowns that will be seen in the ballrooms of the world.
The Amato influence in this styling is the crossover of Amato’s intricate fabrics that glitter and create wow gowns and hair that could topple an absent minded model! Amato paints a picture with the hair, makeup and jewelry of his models so the accessories Bri selected focus on this trait of the Amato line. Interestingly the hair in this styling is also similar to some hair styles in the Chanel Resort line and the Amato Velvet Matahari campaign.
This styling maintains the cultured elegance of Chanel yet reflects Amato’s influence of accessories and make up to create the perfect portrait.
